1st grade self portraits

It doesn't get any cuter than these winter self portraits!  1st grade has been hard at work on these adorable drawings!  I know there are a lot but I had a hard time choosing which ones to post, they were all so good!  Enjoy!

This one just needs a yellow chevron stripe on a black shirt and he could be famous!!

  1. These are so cute! I started a project before Christmas with my first graders where they are holding caroling song books for Christmas but we didn't get to finish them. This would be a great way to still use them since they haven't put the song books on yet. Love the Charlie Brown one. : )

    1. Hi!

Thanks for your interest in my blog! These were done with Crayola construction paper crayons and Crayola Color Sticks. The color sticks are like colored pencils without the wood. I like the fact that they have a true red, unlike the "red" in the construction paper crayons. Chalk would also work well for this project!

  3. This is fantastic!!! How did you instruct this? Did you draw them an example or show them step by step? They are so colorful, we'd love to try this!
